In 2005, I
retired from teaching after 31 years, Mike and I moved into the home we built on the property we owned in Pamlico County for 19 years. I became the Store
Manager at Habitat for Humanity in Pamlico
County while running
errands for Mike’s electrical business, “Totally Wired.” At that time I knew I wanted to continue
making a living but wanted a career that let me meet new people, have flexible
hours, work close to home and use the resources of my community. I realized being a concierge was the career I wanted. I enrolled in a concierge
school, received my certification, and opened “Southern Hospitality Concierge Service!” I have put my enthusiasm and passionate commitment to quality work into a business, which creates the desired balance in my life while allowing you, the homeowner, to work less and play more.
